Case 1: China UnionPay

Market Research: Usage of China UnionPay Cards by Chinese Students in the U.S.
- Background: In light of the impact of the pandemic and competition from other cards, China UnionPay aims to conduct research on Chinese students in the U.S. to understand changes in their card usage rates, explore suitable product benefits for students, and identify effective promotional channels.
- Service Provided: Collaborated with several key universities in the East, Central, and West regions to survey over 1,000 students, focusing on the following key issues: survey the UnionPay card usage rate, daily consumption habits, criteria for choosing commonly used bank cards, and methods for making large payments.
- Outcome: Successfully completed the research and analysis on the usage of China UnionPay cards among Chinese students in the U.S. In addition to online surveys, over 100 one-on-one interviews were conducted to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information. The analysis report has positively contributed to the development of China UnionPay’s student business in the U.S.
Case 2: Takeme Pay

Business Consulting: Assisting Japan’s TakeMe Payment Company (T Company) in Entering the U.S. Market
- Background: T Company has been operating in Japan for many years, primarily providing payment services to Asian customers traveling to Japan. To better meet the needs of Japanese tourists, the company plans to enter the U.S. market, specifically targeting destinations frequented by Japanese tourists, such as Hawaii.
Services Provided: Assisted with preliminary market research and analysis, provided guidance on the requirements and process for company registration in the U.S., including assistance in completing the registration in Delaware.
